How do I hear God


“One thing I’ve learned about relationships is that I tend to become more like the people I spend the most time with”.
Motivational speaker Jim Rohn famously said that we are the average of the five people with whom we spend the most time.

Considering the above statement by a person who is  generally promoting personal experience and scientific information, we need to accept that if we spend a lot of time with God, we will become like Him and be able to live a life of health, wealth, peace and power on this earth even as did Jesus

Building Bridges – Part Three


In the previous parts of this series we saw that it is of prime importance for us, as believers, to make sure that the word of God can freely pass between us and all whom we have relationships with. This at any time – in season and out of season. Nothing can be of more importance than to make sure the bridges of relationship grow and are kept clear – whichever community situation we find ourselves in.

Experiencing life in community can be a very rewarding time. Let’s have a look at some examples of community situations outside of our normal understanding of city or neighborhood communities.

Community may be one of the following:

  • Church group: i.e. prayer group or home cell.
  • A sports group or club.
  • A business.
  • A Marriage or a family are a good example of a ‘micro’ community.

Apart from Cities and Neighborhoods, there are other types of communities – Cell groups, Prayer groups, sports groups, Companies, Families and Marriages.
